CH Studs / Shaftwallare robust, high-performance components meticulously designed to uphold the integrity of shaftwalls. These Ch Studs are specifically engineered for use with 1″ thick gypsum shaftliner panels, fitting snugly between top and bottom J Track sections. The gypsum shaftliner panels are effortlessly inserted into the stud flanges, creating an airtight friction fit along the panel’s length. The studs are automatically spaced at a maximum of 24″ o.c. To achieve the designated fire rating, the system is completed with fire-rated gypsum board.

Shaftwall systems are integral interior non-load-bearing wall assemblies, engineered to deliver essential fire-rated protection for elevator shafts, stairwells, vertical chases, and mechanical enclosures.

CH Studs are available in two thickness options: 22mils (25ga), and 33mils (20ga)
