Welded Wire Mesh
Welded Wire Mesh
Welded Wire Mesh serve as reinforcement for concrete and are alternatively referred to as reinforcing welded wire mesh. Constructed from metal rods ranging in diameter from 3 to 40 inches, these rods are arranged parallel to each other, with another set of parallel rods placed on top. These rods are interconnected through welding to form a mesh sheet, with the shape of the openings varying between square and rectangular based on the intended application.
Galvanized steel mesh sheets are offered as well, boasting resistance against corrosion and rust. Their threaded structure not only improves adhesion to concrete but also reduces the occurrence of concrete cracks. Primarily employed in reinforcing foundations, road surfaces, bridges, and similar structures, mesh sheets play a significant role in enhancing their durability and strength.
